[Waiting on Wednesday] The Hidden Oracle

Sinopse: How do you punish an immortal?

By making him human.

After angering his father Zeus, the god Apollo is cast down from Olympus. Weak and disorientated, he lands in New York City as a regular teenage boy. Now, without his godly powers, the four-thousand-year-old deity must learn to survive in the modern world until he can somehow find a way to regain Zeus’s favour.

But Apollo has many enemies—gods, monsters and mortals who would love to see the former Olympian permanently destroyed. Apollo needs help, and he can think of only one place to go… an enclave of modern demigods known as Camp Half-Blood.

  1. Is it sad that I’ve never read one of his books?

    • A little bit! xD but I totally understand, there are so many books and it seems like such task and time investment and that you need to prepare yourself so so much to enter the Percy Jackson world, I felt exactly like that, but then one day I actually picked up the first book from my bookshelf kinda randomly and it was so silly and fun that I couldn’t stop. It never felt forced or like something I had to read to join a fandom or just to know what the fuss was all about, it was really because Percy was such a fun character to read about. AND THEN THINGS GET DARKER AND MORE SERIOUS and holy crap Rick Riordan is a fantastic storyteller. 🙂 No pressure, try it out sometime just for the kicks.
